Madeline Garland


Receptionist, The Washington School of Ballet - Northwest Campus, Washington School of Ballet

Madeline Garland (she/her) is an ongoing learner in the arts and dance educator in the DC area. Madeline is receiving her master’s from American University in Arts Management. She is currently the 2023-2024 Fellow in Community Engagement and Education at the Strathmore in Bethesda, MD. When not working reception for the Washington School of Ballet, Madeline is also a teaching artist for Washington Ballet’s DanceDC program.

Madeline received her training in classical ballet from Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and Southern New Hampshire Dance Theater. Her favorite experiences included performing in La Bayadere, the Waltz of the Flowers in the Nutcracker, and original contemporary works by Ashley Walton.
