A Wisconsin native, Cacciotti began her early training under the guidance of Marc Darling and Linda Bennett. She went on to study as a trainee at Joffrey Ballet School studying under the direction of Era Jouravlev, Brian McSween, Francesca Corkle and Marina Bagdavana. While at Joffrey she performed various roles including Odette from Swan Lake, and lead Mirliton and the Arabian Princess from The Nutcracker. She had the opportunity to take many diverse classes including dance pedagogy, where she fell in love with teaching. She spent her summers training at various schools including Orlando Ballet, Nashville Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre, among others. After graduation from Joffrey she accepted a contract with Ballet Theatre of Maryland where she enjoyed dancing with the company as well as teaching young children and adults alike. She enjoyed dancing in The Nutcracker, Giselle, and The Little Mermaid. She is very excited to be working with the Washington Ballet School.
