She earned a BA in Dance from the University of Maryland and her post graduate studies were at the American University. She trained early in life in the Royal Academy of Dance under Delores Ringer of The National Ballet. She continued her dance training at TWSB with Mary Day, Robert Steele, Martin Buckner, Alistair Monroe, Julio DeBittencourt and others. Her other teachers included Frederic Franklin, director of The National Ballet, and Ann Parsons, dancer with The Royal Ballet and teacher at The Joffrey School. She has trained and is certified in the Royal Academy of Dance graded syllabus and Mary Day’s Washington School of Ballet training syllabus.
