The Washington School of Ballet’s Northwest Campus on Wisconsin Avenue consists of three buildings:

The Washington School of Ballet’s NW Campus offers school year (September to June) and summer (June to July) ballet programs for students ranging from ages 3-19 and year-round Open Classes for Adults ages 13+.
Upper level students share studios with the internationally acclaimed The Washington Ballet Company at the Main Building.
Co-founded by legendary ballet pioneers, Mary Day and Lisa Gardiner, The Washington School of Ballet has produced many notable alumni including: Virginia Johnson, Kevin McKenzie, Amanda McKerrow, Shirley MacLaine, Georgia Engel, and Chelsea Clinton.
The Washington School of Ballet students have gone on to dance professionally with The Washington Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Dutch National Ballet, Houston Ballet, Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Miami City Ballet and numerous other companies all over the US and the world.
The Joseph C. Coleman Studios at Cathedral Commons, 3308 Wisconsin Ave, NW is just south of the Company’s headquarters and houses three state-of-the-art studios with availability for community event rental space.

The Washington School of Ballet’s SE Campus offers school year (September to June) and summer (June to July) ballet programs for students ranging from ages 18 months-18 years from September to June and select year-round Open Classes for Adults ages 13+.
Inaugurated in the summer of 2005, Town Hall Education Arts Recreation Campus (THEARC) hosts The Washington School of Ballet’s Southeast Campus, TWSB SE. THEARC is also home to fourteen nonprofit partner organizations, including Levine Music, ArtReach, Washington School for Girls, Trinity (DC) University, Children’s Health Project DC, Boys and Girls Club FBR Branch, and Covenant House, making it a widely-used community asset.
Beyond the programs in the two original buildings, THEARC houses a 400-seat theater, art gallery, basketball courts, and a community garden. In January 2018, THEARC opened a building that hosts an expanded Children’s Health Project, The Community Meditation Center, AppleTree Institute, Bishop T. Walker School for Boys, and a 250-seat Black Box theater.
