Keith Lamelle Thomas, is a graduate of the Baltimore School for the Arts.  Upon graduating, Mr. Thomas received a full scholarship to Dance Theater of Harlem.  He worked his way up the ranks to become a principal dancer.  After leaving DTH, Mr. Thomas went on to have a career on Broadway in shows such as,  Black n Blue, Porgy and Bess, Jellys’ Last Jam, Swing, Ragtime,  Harlem Song, Cinderella  and Red Shoes. He also can be seen in the movies; Malcolm X, The Producers,  Step Up and Stompin at the Savoy,  to name a few. After Broadway and traveling extensively, he returned to be an Adjunct Professor at Towson University and the director of their Children’s Dance Division.  Mr. Thomas has been a Consultant,  Dance Captain, choreographer and assistant director for several major projects like Ruined,  Sophisticated Ladies,  Cool Papa’s Party and Porgy and Bess 75th anniversary tour. He is now a faculty member at City Dance school and Conservatory, and on faculty the TWSB. He is grateful today to have the opportunity to teach, encourage and inspire young dancers to become their very best!
