Adrián Lázaro Sánchez Hernández is from Havana, Cuba. He is a Cuban dancer who graduated from the renowned Cuban National Ballet School, earning qualifications both as a professional dancer and ballet teacher. His artistic development has been shaped by master teachers including Alicia Alonso, Fernando Alonso, Julio Bocca, Azari Plisetsky, José Carlos Martínez and Ricardo Amarante.

From 2015 to 2021, he performed as a principal dancer with the Cuban National Ballet, where he took on some of the most iconic roles in the classical repertoire. Since 2022, he has been a principal dancer at the National Theatre of Brno in the Czech Republic under the direction of Mario Radačovský.

His stage career features acclaimed performances such as Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake, Solor in La Bayadère, Prince Désiré in Sleeping Beauty, Basilio in Don Quixote, and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet. He has also stood out in works by George Balanchine, including Theme and Variations, Serenade, Tchaikovsky pas de deux and Episodes, as well as contemporary pieces by choreographers like Nacho Duato, Jiří Kylián, Anabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Gustavo Herrera.

Adrián has appeared at leading international events such as the Havana International Ballet Festival, the Kennedy Center Festival (USA), The Grange Festival (UK), and the “Les Étoiles” gala in Italy. In 2025, he performed as a guest principal dancer in Don Quixote by José Carlos Martínez with the Compañía Nacional de Danza at Madrid’s Teatro Real.
