Maggie Graves joined The Washington Ballet (TWB) in August 2023. She is originally from Lafayette, California outside San Francisco where she was an active member of the theatre arts community. After receiving her BA in Political Science from Western Washington University, Maggie spent several years working as an assistant in classrooms with students ranging from preschoolers to high schoolers. She then lived and worked in Paris, France as an Au Pair for a year before moving to DC to pursue her Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) at George Washington University. While obtaining her Master’s degree, Maggie served as both the Awards Coordinator for the Arthur Flemming Awards which highlights the achievements of early-career federal workers and as a Project Manager for the American Society for Quality’s Government Division.
Outside of working hours, Maggie enjoys cooking, biking around the DMV, playing ultimate frisbee competitively and traveling to new places.
