Join Artistic Director Julie Kent and The Washington Ballet’s Board of Directors for one of DC’s most anticipated events. The Washington Ballet’s 2022 Gala is an evening inspired by Saint-Tropez, including cocktails and dinner on the District Pier, performances at The Anthem by The Washington Ballet, and drinks and desserts as you dance the night away.
Attire: Black Tie (Looking for inspiration? Think Cannes Film Festival!)
Imagine yourself in The French Riviera, looking at the calm waters of the Mediterranean Sea and sitting in a beautiful setting, with lush white flowers and greenery surrounding you. You have a fabulous local rosé in hand while catching up with guests on the pier. You then move to an extraordinary culinary experience with wine pairings local to Saint-Tropez. No detail will be spared as our goal is to transport you for the night to one of the most beautiful destinations in the world both with your eyes and palate. After dinner and authentic desert, we will move to the Anthem to see a special Washington Ballet performance and take you dancing in one of the most famous Saint-Tropez clubs. We will gently bring you back from your fabulous night and send you home with some French goodies that will help you remember the night. Join us on the French Riviera Pier!
