

Studio Company Dancer
Eric Nimchuk is from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This is his first season with The Washington Ballet Studio Company. At 13 years old, Eric joined Canada’s National Ballet School’s (NBS) Pre-Professional Ballet Program in Toronto, Ontario. He trained at NBS until graduating in 2025. Eric also trained with The School of the Hamburg Ballett as part of an exchange program. Additionally, he attended the Netherlands Dance Theatre Summer Intensive in 2024. Upon graduation, he received the Christopher Ondaatje Ballet Prize. While at NBS, he performed in many showcases in works such as Azure Barton’s Come In, and Esie Mensah’s Eshi, as well as leading roles in Balanchine’s Haieff Divertimento and Jera Wolfe’s Arise.
