Under the direction of the Head of School, Xiomara Reyes and Associate Head of School, Monica Stephenson, The Washington School of Ballet will present a new Spring Performance.
This year’s program will begin with “Class Concert,” a TWSB faculty collaboration featuring choreography by Xiomara Reyes to music by Johann Strauss. The program will close with the effervescent and dynamic ballet “Don Quixote” staged by Reyes and Rinat Imaev. Original choreography by Marius Petipa to the music of Ludwig Minkus, the ballet was first presented by the Ballet of the Imperial Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow in December 1869. “Don Quixote” will feature all TWSB students in levels 1A through Trainees.
