Suzanne Kritzberg was a principal dancer and teacher for the Minnesota Ballet for twenty-two years. She performed more than fifty roles from the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker to Odette in Swan Lake, and has danced works by master choreographers such as George Balanchine, Agnes de Mille and Antony Tudor.
Suzanne began her dance training at age eleven, studying at Ruth Page, in Chicago, at the Houston Ballet Academy and the Pacific Northwest Ballet School. Before joining the Minnesota Ballet, she danced in the Chicago Tribune Charities production of The Nutcracker, with the State Ballet of Missouri and the Wisconsin Ballet Theatre.
At the Minnesota Ballet, Suzanne’s other roles included education outreach leader, ballet mistress and artistic assistant. She also served as a coach and choreographer for the Duluth Figure Skating Club and is a certified Pilates trainer.
