Ramón Sánchez

Adult Program Faculty

Ramón Sánchez, from Alicante, Spain, began his ballet training at the Conservatory of Spain in 2002.  Ramon has studied and received scholarships at Victor Ullate School (Madrid), DanceWorks (London), French Academy of Ballet (New York) and Joffrey Ballet School (New York). He has performed with ballet companies in the US and Europe, and has worked with choreographers, such as,  Jhonathan Alexander Arias (Berlin), Nils Christie at the Staats Theater Ballett Cottbus (Germany), Julio Acevedo (Münster) Nutcracker Gala 2017, and Brigit Scherzer and Chiara Ajkun (New York). He has performed in Swan lake, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Carmen, Esmeralda, Nutcracker, Seeds, Cantus, Pour Nous, as well as in other classical and contemporary repertoire.

Ramon, a very passionate teacher, has being teaching children, professional dancers to adults for more than 12 years. In 2019 during the Pandemic, he created the first Adult Ballet Program in Spain. Ramon has also taught master classes and served on various ballet juries at Barcelona Ballet (Spain), North Bohemian Opera Ballet Theater (Czech Republic), L’Atellier Academy (Spain), Joffrey Ballet School (New York).

He worked as Assistant Artistic Director at the Ballet foundation of Reston (Reston-Virginia) 2021, Assistant Director of Allegro (Arlington-Virginia) and Artistic Director of rasaGOtraining (Spain and Online). He is a certified pilates and personal trainer and has created his own personal method, “rasaGOtraining & ballet” as a means for dancers to improve their technique and other aspects of their careers. Ramón Sánchez is currently Head Teacher at Alchemy Ballet Academy in Herndon, VA as well as Director and Ballet Master of the Alchemy Ballet Company project.
