Andrea Rinaldi attended Mercyhurst College graduating with a degree in Biology. After college she moved to New York City and married Dr. Peter Rinaldi in 2003, becoming a mother in 2004 and again in 2007. In 2008, Dr. Rinaldi became a partner at The Washington Center for Dentistry, relocating their family to Washington DC. Andrea became involved in fundraising at Our Lady of Mercy, raising over $70,000 for her son’s school. Soon after, she became involved with Suburban Hospital’s Key to the Cure, sitting on the host committee for 3 years and raising over $300,000. Her involvement in The Washington Ballet began when her daughter Londonrose started at the school in 2012. The Washington Ballet has become her sole focus with the perfect mix of both philanthropic and social activities. Andrea joined the Women’s Committee in 2014 and was nominated Membership Chair the following year. In her tenure, the largest group of women have joined to date. Her commitment to the Women’s Committee as Membership Chair in 2015 helped raise over $500,000. Andrea’s most recent accomplishment was chairing The Washington Ballet’s Nutcracker Tea Party in 2016 and in 2017 at The National Museum of Women in the Arts.
