Alexandra Keen received her classical training from The Washington School of Ballet under the direction of Mary Day. She went on to receive her BA in Dance Performance from Point Park University, graduating magna cum laude. Keen has performed in many ballets including Balanchine’s Serenade, Mary Day’s The Nutcracker, The Kirov Ballet’s The Sleeping Beauty as well as original works by Peter Merz, Lauri Stallings, Nejla Yatkin and Junichi Fukuda. She has danced professionally with The Ballet Theatre of Maryland, Bowen McCauley Dance, ConcorDance Contemporary, Olney Ballet Theatre, and most recently with the I.C. Movement Project.
