Jamie Boucher

2023/24 Board of Directors

Jamie L. Boucher joined the TWB board in 2019 and serves on the Ballet’s Executive Committee, Finance Committee, and Community Engagement and Marketing Committee. Jamie was also a member of the Search Committee to select TWB’s new Artistic Director.

Jamie retired from the global law firm, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP at the end of 2022. At Skadden, she served as head of the firm’s Financial Institutions Regulatory and Enforcement Group and supervised teams in Washington, DC, London, and Paris. As a member of Skadden’s senior management, Jamie was co-chair of Skadden’s Anti-Money Laundering Committee and served as a member of the Policy Committee, Skadden’s governing body. Jamie specialized in representing global financial institutions in high-profile, complex, cross-border compliance and enforcement matters. She is an expert in cross-border anti-money laundering, economic sanctions, banking secrecy and data protection compliance matters, and has counseled U.S. and international clients on numerous issues arising under these laws and regulations. Jamie also provided her clients and their boards with guidance on corporate governance and worked with them extensively to help monitor and improve corporate governance and compliance.

In 2023, Jamie was named to the Lawdragon Hall of Fame for her work in the Financial Services Enforcement and Regulation space. In 2019, she was named as Best Lawyers’ 2019 Washington, D.C. Litigation – Banking and Finance Law Lawyer of the Year. In addition, Jamie was repeatedly selected for inclusion in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, The Best Lawyers in America, and Lawdragon 500’s Leading Lawyers in America. Jamie is the past chair of the American Bar Association Banking Law Committee, Subcommittee on Mergers and Acquisitions.

Jamie’s passions include ballet, contemporary art, home improvement projects, anything to do with France, and chicken wings.
