Dr. Michael Olding is Chief of Plastic Surgery at George Washington University and Director of the Cosmetic Surgery Center at the GWU Medical Faculty Associates. He is a board certified member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
He completed his surgical training at Cornell Medical Center and McGill University. Dr. Olding has published widely in major surgical journals on a wide range of plastic surgery. He has over 20 years of experience and is one of Washington’s premier cosmetic surgeons. Dr. Olding has been listed as one of the best cosmetic and plastic surgeons in EVERY POLL in the Washingtonian magazine since 1989 and named in the top 1% of plastic surgeons nationwide by US News and World Report. He has also been featured on the Discovery Channel and interviewed by news sources such as Fox 5 News, Channel 9, Channel 7, The Washington Times, The Washington Post, New York Times Style Magazine and the Boston Globe.
Outside the medical field, he has been active in the arts and served on the Orchestra of the Americas board of directors for 15 years. His other passion is “riding to the hounds” in the Virginia countryside.
