Adult Program Open House

ADULT PROGRAM OPEN HOUSE CELEBRATION

Saturday, Jan. 13th, 2024 2:00PM-4:30PM
Cathedral Common Studios: 3308 Wisconsin Ave NW

Come mix and mingle at the Adult Program’s Open House! A fun community gathering to meet your fellow students and faculty, get information on new classes, and an opportunity to take a demo class with faculty.

Join us for 30-minute demos classes at all levels. These classes will familiarize students with the skill-level, content, and material they can expect to find in TWSB Adult Program classes. Participation in these demo classes will help guide students to their appropriate levels.

All demo classes are free, but students must register on Mindbody Online. Advance registration is required.
Registration will open three weeks prior to the class date and time; Saturday Dec. 23rd, starting at 2:30PM.

Those attending the Open House will receive a discount rate for the Company’s February 14-18, 2024 JAZZ ICONS Performance.

Open House Schedule

OPEN HOUSE SCHEDULE

Registration will open three weeks prior to the class date and time; Saturday Dec. 23rd, starting at 2:30PM.

  • 2:00PM-4:30PM – Mix and Mingle, Coleman Studio
  • 2:30PM-3:00PM – New to Ballet Fundamentals and Fundamentals II Class with Miya Hisaka and Nancy Parenti, Trone Studio
    • A 30-minute barre open to novice through Fundamentals level students. This is your chance for those who have always wanted to take a ballet class! Discover how fun ballet can be! No previous experience necessary.
  • 3:00PM-3:15PM – 15-minute Discussion and Feedback with instructors, Coleman Studio

  • 3:00PM-3:30PM – Beginner I and Beginner II Ballet Class with Keith Thomas, Trone Studio
    • A 30-minute combination of a beginner level barre. This class is for students who already have a foundational understanding of ballet terminology and technique. Not for novice dancers.
  • 3:30PM-3:45 PM – 15-minute Discussion and Feedback with instructors, Coleman Studio

  • 3:30PM-4:00PM –  Advanced Beginner and Intermediate Ballet Class with Linda Baranovics and Tamas Krizsa, Trone Studio
    • A 30-minute combination of a faced paced barre and center work. Students in this level have attended ballet classes regularly in recent years or throughout adolescence. This class is for the more proficient and experienced student with a minimum of 5 years of training.
  • 4:00PM-4:15 PM – 15-minute Discussion and Feedback with instructor, Trone Studio
