
ELIZABETH GAHL is a graduate of Georgetown University with a BA in Psychology with minors in Theology and Pre-Medicine. As a scholarship student with the Washington School of Ballet, she frequently danced with the Washington Ballet Company. Awards and recognitions include the Lisa Gardiner Scholarship Award, the Grand Prix Award at the Philadelphia Regional Competition of Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in 2002, and Best Choreographer at the YAGP Regional Competition in Torrington, CT in 2009. Liz's choreography has been performed at the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theater and Millenium Stage, the Concert Hall at Strathmore, and the Peabody Institute's Friedberg Hall. She created a collaboration for 15 American dancers from CityDance Center and 15 Palestinian dancers ages 9-14 performed during the Palestine Youth Cultural Tour of the US in June 2011.
