Constance Dinapoli

CONSTANCE DINAPOLI,danced with the Paul Taylor Dance Company from 1986-1993. Now acting as repetiteur for the Paul Taylor Dance Foundation, she stages Mr. Taylor’s work on professional companies and universities around the world and has co-directed Taylor 2. Ms. Dinapoli has been on faculty at Barnard College in NYC, the College Conservatory of Music in Cincinnati, OH, Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, the American Dance Theater workshop, Garden City, NY, the Taylor School in NYC, Chautauqua Institution in upstate NY and George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She was awarded a fellowship of Advanced Studies at Indiana University and has a BA in Art History and Economics from Stanford University and a MFA in Dance from George Mason University. Currently she is adjunct professor in the School of Dance at the College of Visual and Performing Arts, George Mason University, faculty with the School of the Washington Ballet and dance specialist for Fairfax County Public Schools. Ms. Dinapoli’s performing career revived in 2009 and she performs with Karen Reedy Dance collaborating with dancers, artists, and musicians in the DC area.
