
MICHELLE BETTIN, originally from Baltimore, Maryland, had her early training with the Maryland Ballet Theatre, Georgetown School of Ballet, and Advance Dance Academy. After receiving her BFA from Towson University, Ms. Bettin danced professionally with Ballet Teatro Internacional, Ballet Theatre of Maryland, Columbus Dance Theatre, and Manassas Ballet Theatre. In 2002, Michelle participated in the XII International Ballet Competition in Trujillo, Peru, where she was a semi-finalist. She has performed various works from Paul Taylor’s Airs to Fokine’s Chopiniana, and has danced leading roles in Balanchine’s Valse Fantasie, Tim Veach’s The Match Girl, and Mark Mejias’s The Wizard of Oz and Cirque du Ballet. Recently, Michelle performed in Los Angeles in Mary Apick’s Beneath the Veil. Additionally, Michelle holds a certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and continues to guest perform throughout the DC Metro area.
