The smoldering culture of a French cabaret is the focus of oui, non, a collaboration between Septime Webre and the arresting and enchanting chanteuse Karen Akers. Also on the program: Twyla Tharp’s masterpiece In The Upper Room, a rhythmic tour de force set to Phillip Glass’ soundtrack, and Jerome Robbins’ In the Night, his luminous hit of three beautiful and romantic pas de deuxs set to Chopin nocturnes.
