How To Exchange

Schedule change? We are happy to exchange your tickets for the same production at no additional charge.

If you are unable to attend an entire production, you can exchange into another production for a $10 fee per ticket.

For all productions:

Ticket Exchange Form

If your current tickets are for a performance more than 2 weeks away:

Mail your completed exchange form with your tickets to The Washington Ballet or

Fax the completed form with a copy of your tickets cut in half to 202.362.1311 or

Email a scanned attachment of your tickets cut in half along with your exchange request to subscriptions@washingtonballet.org.

If your current tickets are for a performance less than 2 weeks away:

To process your exchange, The Washington Ballet must receive your tickets no later than 10 AM on the day of the performance you are exchanging out of, or by 10 AM Friday when you are exchanging out of a Saturday or Sunday performance. After these deadlines you may only donate the tickets as a tax-deductible donation.

Exchanges into higher priced performances or sections must include the price difference per ticket. The Washington Ballet does not issue refunds for less expensive tickets.

PLEASE NOTE: The Warner Theatre, The Kennedy Center, and The Washington Ballet's Theater at THEARC cannot process ticket exchanges in person at their box offices.
