The Washington Ballet hosts four major fundraising events each year attracting luminaries in business, philanthropy, and entertainment from around The District and beyond. The Washington Ballet special events play an integral role in the Company’s annual fundraising efforts directly support community engagement, education and training and the Annual Fund. Whether Black-tie or a costume party, The Washington Ballet events are elegant and fun with the liveliest crowds, unforgettable themes and the latest moves on the dance floor. Each event celebrates the superb artistry of The Washington Ballet while providing an elegant occasion to raise necessary funds to support TWB’s vital education,outreach and training programs.
Jeté Society members host one of The Washington Ballet’s popular behind-the-scenes series which allows patrons to see a rehearsal of The Washington Ballet's upcoming productions. A reception follows with beer and sparkling wine provided by Starr Hill Brewery and Barefoot Bubbly and food provided by Carmines. This is a ticketed event open to the public.

Balletomanes and Mary Day Society members are invited to join Artistic Director Septime Webre and The Washington Ballet Company for a rehearsal of The Washington Ballet's upcoming production. Come visit the Ballet studios and get an exclusive, behind the scenes look at the choreographers and dancers at work! There is a reception with the artists immediately following the Open Rehearsal.
