Jared Nelson, of Yuba City, California, returns to The Washington Ballet for his eighth season. He was a member of the Boston Ballet for the 2004-2005 season. While in Boston, he danced the role of Lucentio in John Cranko’s The Taming of the Shrew and a principal role in William Forsythe’s In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated. Mr. Nelson previously danced as a principal dancer with The Sacramento Ballet for seven seasons. He was trained by Ron Cunningham and Carinne Binda.
