Junious "House" Brickhouse
For over 15 years, Founder and Executive Director of Urban Artistry, Junious "House" Brickhouse has been earning his name locally, nationally, and internationally as an, Urban Dance competitor, performer and educator. For the past 4 years he has committed himself to the DC Metro Area, as a dance educator, performer and mentor. Since then, he has worked locally with the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, The Maryland State Arts Council, The DC Commission for the Arts and Humanities, among a variety of other organizations. As floor captain of the DC Chapter of the Assassins Crew International, he has had the opportunity to mentor several talented young people and share with them his experience as an International Artist. In 2009 he was awarded the honor of being named a Master through MD Traditions- a partnership with the Maryland State Arts Council and the Maryland Historical Trust. His workshops, performances, collaborations and youth outreach groups, can be found locally, as well as throughout the world.
