Cece Farha

CECE FARHA began teaching on the faculty of The Washington School of Ballet in 1999 under the direction of Mary Day. She works within multiple levels of the school instructing students in ballet, jazz, and choreography, and is currently the Children’s Ballet Master for the Washington Ballet’s Nutcracker. A founding company member of Ballet Oklahoma, Ms. Farha trained at the San Francisco School of Ballet, under the direction of Lew Christiansen. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and was a member of the Festival Ballet Company. Ms. Farha is also the founder and artistic director of Range of Motion Dance Studio. She sits on the Board for the Western Arkansas Ballet and is on the guest faculty for Virginia School of the Arts, Pittsburgh Ballet, Mercersburg Academy, Arlington Dance Center, and Reston Conservatory Ballet. She is commissioned by dance companies and theaters across the nation and has created and produced seventeen original Children’s Ballets. Her professional theater choreography includes productions of Annie Get Your Gun, Peter Pan, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Good-bye Girl, The Pajama Game, A Little Night Music, Godspell, Carousel, and Oklahoma!
